The streaming service is set to compete with other existing platforms such as Netflix, Disney+, and HBO MAX.

In an effort to reach a wider audience, CBS All Access will undergo a rebranding next month that will see a large variety of content being added to the platform.

The streaming service, known for owning rights to stream the UEFA Champions League among other tournaments, will be known as Paramount+ starting March 4.

ViacomCBS, owner of Paramount Pictures and the CBS TV network hopes that this change will encourage more users to join, especially thinking about film fanatics and international users. Plans for the company include adding over 30,000 movies and TV episodes to the already vast offer found on CBS All Access.

Paramount+ will not only be available in the United States, as the company has revealed its plans to launch the platform in Latin America (starting March 4), in Nordic countries by March 25, and in Australia when we're halfway through 2021.

The service will include movie classics, original productions, live sports, and other features. Subscribers may access the platform on a regular subscription or via an ad-free option.
