The activity in the Guard1anes 2021 is now in full motion, and the games scheduled for this week may give us a good idea on how things could work for all those involved in the tournament.

Matchday 2 will begin on Friday with a couple of matches. The most relevant one will take place between Necaxa and San Luis, two teams looking for their first points of the tournament.
Saturday will be action-packed, with three of the so-called "Four Greats" involved in the games. Out of those, América has been handed the hardest test, as they will have to face Monterrey away from home. This game will feature two of the most interesting signings of the competition when coaches Javier Aguirre (Monterrey) and Santiago Solari (América) shake hands prior to the game's kickoff. The other games being played on that day will feature Chivas against Toluca and Cruz Azul hosting Puebla at Azteca Stadium.
Sunday's games will have one of the top matches of the competition, as Santos will host CONCACAF Champions League winners Tigres. Both teams started the tournament with a win, which means that this game should be worth-watching. Earlier that day, Pumas will host Mazatlán, and the day will conclude with the clash between Querétaro and Atlas.
Matchday 2 will come to an end with defending champions León trying to earn their first points of the tournament against Pachuca. The Guard1anes 2020 champions were not at their best last weekend, and a win here is necessary for Ignacio Ambriz's men to get back on track.
