Coach Pirlo needs reinforcements to try and catch Milan at the top of the table, but in order to fund those deals they must transfer some footballers away from the club.

Juventus' dominance in the Italian top-flight could end this season, especially when you look at the standings and realize that the bianconeri are ten points behind league leaders Milan.

With that in mind, coach Andrea Pirlo has urged his bosses to try and boost his squad in the ongoing winter transfer window, but the effects of the coronavirus pandemic have hit Juve's pockets in spectacular fashion. Hence, the club will need to part ways with some of their players if they want to sign reinforecements.

While Pirlo's wishlist has not been revealed, the names of the players he is ready to let go has already been leaked by Italian journalists. In an article published by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the players that will have to seek for pastures new are Sami Khedira, Federico Bernardeschi, and surprisingly, Adrien Rabiot.

Out of these players, Rabiot's case is the most interesting, since the French footballer has played over 1,000 minutes under the Italian boss. Meanwhile, Bernardeschi's performance this season has been testimonial, as he has only played a bit over 400 minutes this year. As for Khedira, the German player could be destined to become the first exit in the winter transfer window, as his future has already been linked to Everton.

The bianconeri seem to be desperate to turn things around in the domestic competition, and according to Pirlo, that will only happen if some new players are brought in to replace the three men mentioned above.
