The pair, once again, combined for a goal as Spurs brushed aside Bielsa's side to end their four-game winless streak.

Tottenham hosted Leeds in the Premier League's early Saturday kick-off and what a game it turned out to be. In typical fashion, Bielsa's men attacked the north London giants with no fear and could have easily been a goal or two up against, but it was Spurs who emerged triumphant, winning 3-0.

Harry Kane broke the deadlock, a goal which came against the run of play. The home side won a penalty just before the half-an-hour mark, which the English striker converted with ease. Two minutes before half-time, Tottenham doubled their lead, with Heung-Min Son getting on the scoresheet this time around.

In the fifth minute, Son turned provider, setting up Toby Alderweireld for the third goal. The score line remained this way until the final whistle, thus bringing an end to the team's four-game winless run in the Premier League. It was also a memorable match for Son and Kane, with the pair making history with the second goal of the tie.

As mentioned early, it was the South Korean sensation who put the ball in the back of the net thanks to a lovely pass from Kane. This was the 13th goal the deadly duo combined to score this season, matching the all-time record less than halfway through the 2020/21 campaign.

However, it doesn't stop there. That first-half effort from Son was his 100th goal for Tottenham, with only Kane (169) outscoring him since his arrival in 2015. As for the Three Lions striker, he became the first player this season to hit double figures for both goals (10) and assists (10) in Europe's top five league after this match.

Mourinho's men have now climbed to third in the standings, sitting on 29 points with a game in-hand over the likes of Leicester and Chelsea. Unfortunately, they remain four points behind the likes of Liverpool and Man United who occupy the top two spots on 33 points.
