The draw for the UEFA Europa League round of 32 has been held and it has handed tough fixtures to three of England's four representatives. They are Man United, Arsenal, and Leicester, with the Red Devils set to face Real Sociedad while the Gunners will lock horns with Portuguese giants Benfica in the knockout stage.

This fixtures come amid hardship for both clubs, with Solskjaer's side suffering the embarrassment of crashing out of the UEFA Champions League group stage while the north London giants are struggling to win games in the Premier League. Real Sociedad have been one of the most exciting teams in La Liga this season and should give the Red Devils a run for their money. Furthermore, the Red Devils' recent track record against Spanish opposition hasn't been ideal, failing to win any of their last nine encounters and losing their last four in a row.

As for Arsenal, their record against Portuguese clubs is excellent, boasting a four-game unbeaten run and losing only once in their last seven encounters. Where the true worry lies is in the Gunners' current form, losing their last three Premier League games in a row while winning only once in their last eight domestic fixtures. Benfica will be the first tough opposition for Mikel Arteta's side after a walk-in-the-park group-stage campaign, so this should be interesting to watch.

Then there is Leicester, who will face Slavia Praha in the knockout stage. The Czech Republic outfit missed out on the top spot in their group after losing to Bayer Leverkusen on the sixth and final matchday, which is proof that they aren't ones to be taken lightly.

Italian giants Napoli drew Granada while fellow Serie A side Roma got Portuguese outfit Sporting Braga. Villarreal, who have been impressive in La Liga this season under Unai Emery, will take on an RB Salzburg side that might lose star player Dominik Szoboszlai in the winter transfer window.
