After losing their last home game in this competition, Milan will seek to rebound as they host a Celtic side who have had a torrid time in Europe this season. Live Soccer TV's match preview provides global broadcast listings, team news, and key match stats for AC Milan vs Celtic.

Preview: Milan vs Celtic

Milan will be looking to take advantage of Celtic's misery as the Rossoneri welcome Hoops for matchday five of their Europa League campaign. The Diavolo come into this match having beaten Fiorentina 2-0 last weekend to maintain their lead over the chasing pack in Serie A as they continue to have one of the best domestic seasons fans have seen in a long time. In the Europa League, however, they have slipped up recently, first losing for the first time all season to Lille at the Stadio San Siro before being able to scrape a draw against the same side just weeks later. As a result, Milan are now second in their quartet, but will have a golden opportunity to re-claim top spot at Celtic's expense.

Neil Lennon's team have really been in disarray lately, with November being an awful month for the Bhoys. They were surprisingly beaten both home and away by Eastern European outfit Sparta Prague, and those pair of 4-1 losses have now ended their Europa League campaign even before it really took off. To complicate matters, they have an awful record away from Celtic Park, with just two wins from their last 24 European ties, and have only beaten Milan once in their prior 11 meetings in continental competition.

The Diavolo have never lost to Celtic at their home ground, and they certainly will not be looking to start doing so on Thursday. This tie could see them secure a spot in the round of 32 if Lille are beaten by Sparta Prague, who have now managed to sneak up on Milan thanks to their back to back wins over Celtic last month. Although the hosts will be missing several key players, namely veteran striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Croatian international Ante Rebic was in solid form during their win over the Viola and certainly will be hungry to grab a goal here in order to open his account.

Team news: Milan vs Celtic

Milan: Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still out until at least later this month, while Samu Castillejo and Rafael Leao are still on the treatment table. Stefano Pioli, meanwhile, is still recovering from COVID-19, which means assistant manager Daniele Bonera will again take charge of the team for this tie.

Celtic: The visitors are still without the services of star man James Forrest due to his recent ankle surgery.
