Erling Braut Haaland wasted no time to make his presence felt in this edition of the UEFA Champions League, and the Norwegian striker seems determined to prove his worth in the continental competition.
Haaland scored the second goal for Lucien Favre's men against Zenit, and with that goal he managed to leapfrog some of the best strikers in recent history. The player hit the back of the net for a 12th time in his first ten UCL games, which means he has been far better in front of goal than some of the world's finest strikers in the tournament.

Just in case you were wondering, here's how Haaland's performances compare to the goalscoring antics of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Ronaldo.
Erling Haaland becomes the first player in Champions League history to score 12 goals in 10 games.

Cristiano needed 47 games to reach 12 goals. Messi needed 25 games. Ronaldo needed 32. #BVBZenit #Haaland #UCL pic.twitter.com/NZ23rGqJhx
The player might need a bit more consistency when it comes to playing in KO stage games, but his record in group matches is rather impressive.
