Four of the five U.S. Women's National Team icons who now play in Barclays FA Women's Super League teams thrived for their respective teams this weekend. Christen Press, Tobin Heath, Sam Mewis and Rose Lavelle all played this weekend while Alex Morgan keeps working hard to earn her Tottenham Hotspur debut. 

Tobin Heath – Manchester United

You would think Press would make the No. 1 spot in this week's edition of "Keeping up with USWNT stars in the FA WSL," but it would be criminal to do so with the performances Heath has displayed.

There is no question as to how attractive Heath's footwork and playing style are. She has demonstrated it throughout her long and glamorous career. Her body feints and pixel perfect ball control has driven defenders crazy in England. Moreover, her ability to pick out key passes and crosses with both feet has helped her team to multiple goals this season. However, the two-time world champion finally bagged in her first goal for Manchester United.

Heath now has one goal and two assists after just three FA WSL matches with the Red Devils. 

Christen Press – Manchester United

Press came close to headlining this edition of "Keeping up with USWNT stars in the FA WSL" after scoring her first FA WSL goal for Manchester United on Sunday against West Ham United. Her goal was the last of four in the encounter and one that gave comfort to Casey Stoney and Man U, who were up by just one goal as the game entered its dying minutes. The goal itself was a great finish from a deep masterclass cross from England's Lucy Staniforth.

This goal was exactly what Press needed after three scoreless games. Heath and Press will face Everton next on Nov. 8. Manchester United can climb onto second place if they win that game, given that they are tied in points with The Toffees.

Sam Mewis – Manchester City

Manchester City has not been up to par this season, but Sam Mewis is the woman on a mission for the citizens. 

Three ago, Mewis scored against Arsenal to help Manchester City to a 2-1 win and gain a spot in the Women's FA Cup final. She carried on her good form scoring, a goal against Tottenham in Matchday 3 and nearly scoring against Chelsea the following week. Mewis continued to lift Man City after scoring the equalizing goal in their 1-1 draw with Reading on Sunday.

Manchester City is seven points away from league-leaders Arsenal and only have a +3-goal differential compared to Arsenal's 25.

Rose Lavelle – Manchester City

Lavelle is still adapting to life in England during treacherous times at Manchester City. The 25-year-old midfielder did get her first FA WSL start of the season in Man City's 1-1 draw against Reading.

Alex Morgan – Tottenham Hotspur 

Morgan was left-out of the 18-player roster ahead of Tottenham's 6-1 loss to Arsenal. Her long-awaited return will likely come in Matchday 6 when Tottenham face Reading on Sunday, Nov. 8.
