What an ending this was!

There is no derby in football short of drama and the clash between Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham was certainly not going to end without one. The final minutes of Sunday's encounter produced one of the most remarkable comebacks in modern football with Spurs blowing a 3-0 lead in a game they massively dominated.

Up until the 81st minute, there was much surety that Jose Mourinh's men were going to run away as victors following their electrifying start. In just under 16 minutes, they were three goals up with Harry Kane producing a brace and assisting Heung-min Son for the other.

The tide, however, turned with just nine minutes left of regular time to play. First, it was Fabian Balbuena who headed home the first goal needed for the comeback. In the 85th minute, West Ham went within a goal of restoring parity after Tottenham conceded an own-goal by Davinson Sanchez.

Manuel Lanzini's big moment did not arrive until the game reached the final minute of additional time. A free kick by Aaron Cresswell was poorly cleared by the Spurs defense and the Argentine, from over 16 yards out, smashed home the game's equalizer.

In effect, West Ham became the first team in Premier League history to avoid defeat in a match after being 0-3 down as late as the 81st minute. The Hammers are now unbeaten in their last seven Premier League games, five and drawing two.
