The French midfielder admitted that the possibility of leaving Manchester United is there since his current deal is about to expire.

Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez had stated that the club would not add any new players to their roster in the recently concluded transfer window, but these words by Paul Pogba will surely re-ignite the interest shown by Los Blancos to hire the French footballer.

Speaking in a press conference held at France's training complex, Pogba admitted that playing for Real Madrid has never been ruled out, even if talks between both clubs were not fruitful last summer. Even so, the thought of playing for the Spanish giants is still quite appealing to the French midfielder.

"What can I say? Surely all footballers in the world would like to play for Real Madrid. It would certainly be a dream. It is a dream for me and why not, maybe someday it will come true. But as I've told you guys before, I am currently playing for Manchester United and I love the club. Right now, I will give my all to enjoy myself here and put the club back where it belongs," Pogba said.

Pogba came close to joining the Spanish giants last summer, but vicepresident Ed Woodward refused to negotiate with Los Blancos. Now, the player seems determined to see the end of his deal with the Red Devils, mainly because the English side has not come forward to offer him an extension.

"I haven't spoken to Ed Woodward, there have been no contract extension talks. I am here now and all I can think about now is to get back there on the best possible form. I think that the club will eventually come forward to offer me an extension, or maybe not. Right now, I can't discuss something that has not happened. All I think about right now is me, on how I can enjoy myself on a football pitch again," Pogba concluded.
