NBC and NBCSN’s broadcasts of the English Premier League ruled U.S. TV soccer viewership from Tuesday, Sept. 22, through Monday, Sept. 28, averaging 411,000 viewers per game and a total of 2,468,000 viewers across six broadcasts.

NBC's transmission of West Bromwich Albion and Chelsea's blockbuster 3-3 draw was the most-watched soccer game in the United States, according to Showbuzzdaily. The game garnered a total of 769,000 viewers and received a stunning 0.47 viewership rating. The game also screened through Spanish language sister channel Universo where 110,000 people tuned in.

NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) looked stronger than the prior week, this time screening five Premier League games as opposed to two. The five broadcasts attracted a crowd of 1,699,000 and an average of 340,000 viewers per broadcast. The most successful game aired by NBCSN was Leicester City's 5-2 thrashing over Manchester City on Saturday at 11:30 p.m. ET, attracting a crowd of 456,000 and awarded a 0.26 viewership rating.

TUDN usually headlines weekly U.S. TV soccer viewership, but the Spanish language channel lagged behind NBC and NBCSN this week. Despite having the most broadcasts on U.S. TV this week (7), TUDN had fewer total views than NBCSN with 1,348,000 and an average of 193,000 per game. However, the Liga MX match between Cruz Azul and Club America was the third most-watched game with 454,000 viewers and a viewership rating of 0.18.

CBS's coverage of the NWSL Fall Series consists of a Game of the Week, which airs every Saturday. This week, the Washington Spirit and the Chicago Red Stars attracted a total of 299,000 viewers and received a 0.19 viewership rating.

Two other channels whose soccer game broadcasts made it to Showbuzzdaily's top 150 Saturday cable originals and network finals this week were FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes. The Major League Soccer game screened by FOX Sports 1 on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. ET between Orlando City and Sporting Kansas City only allured 83,000 fans. On the other hand, Spanish language FOX Deportes knocked it off the park with the transmission of Liga MX's Monterrey 2-0 win over Tigres UANL on Saturday at 9:50 p.m. ET, which received a 0.14 viewership rating for the 306,000 people that tuned in.
