The two first urns with teams that will be playing the tournament have been confirmed after Tuesday's results.

The qualifying rounds for the 2020-21 UEFA Champions League are already underway, and given that some of those matches have already taken place, football's governing body in Europe has been able to confirm the first two pots for the continental competition's draw.

The list of teams confirmed earlier today was revealed after Benfica's 2-1 loss to PAOK on Tuesday. The Eagles were one of the few teams involved in the preliminary rounds that could still have a say in the composition of the pots, and with their elimination, the urns can now be confirmed.

Pot 1, as you may know, is put together with all the champions of the top European leagues. Added to those names, the winner of the UEFA Europa League and from the UEFA Champions League are also included in the pot. If a team from the Top 5 European leagues wins the UEFA CL or the Europa League, then the slot in the pot goes to one of the teams with the highest coefficient.

Pot 2 is composed by those teams with the highest coefficient from Europe's top 5 leagues. If any slots are left, then those are allocated to teams from other European leagues with the best performances in European competitions in the past five years. Hence, you can find more than one team from a top European league in this pot.

With these "rules" in mind, here's how Pot 1 and Pot 2 were configurated after yesterday's results.

Pot 1 - Bayern München (UEFA CL/Bundesliga winners), Sevilla (UEFA Europa League winners), Real Madrid (La Liga champions), PSG (Ligue 1 holders), Liverpool (English Premier League winners), Juventus (Serie A champions), Porto (Primeira Liga champions), and Zenit (Russian Premier League winners).

Pot 2 - Barcelona (La Liga), Atlético Madrid (La Liga), Manchester City (EPL), Manchester United (EPL), Chelsea (EPL), Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga), Ajax (Eredivisie), Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukrainian Premier League).

With these names on each pot, there are some facts we have to keep under consideration:

- Sevilla and Real Madrid will not be able to share group with either Atlético or Barcelona.

- Liverpool will not share a group with Manchester United, Manchester City, or Chelsea.

- Bayern will not share their group with Borussia Dortmund.

Hence, we could see Bayern facing Barcelona or Atlético in their group, or Real Madrid against any of the English teams included in Pot 2. Can you imagine how interesting things will get? All we have to wait for is for the teams to be drawn against each other on October 1, when the UEFA Champions League draw is set to take place.
