La Liga will be shown on free-to-air television in the UK during the upcoming season.
LaLiga and Premier Sports have agreed a deal that will see some matches from Spain's top football division televised for free during the 2020-21 season in the UK. The British pay-television broadcaster will delegate the coverage to its free-to-air network FreeSports. This reflects a change in the three-year broadcast deal Premier Sports secured in 2019 for Spanish football.

FreeSports will show live La Liga games on Friday and Saturdays, starting with Eibar's home match against Celta Vigo on September 12, 2020. The other Friday game confirmed to air on FreeSports also involves Eibar, this time, on Matchday 2 away to Villarreal.

Earlier in August, LaLiga announced that the linear 24/7 channel LaLigaTV would be made available at no extra cost to both new and returning Sky subscribers in the UK, until October 1st. Throughout the period of the offer, Sky subscribers can activate Sky Channel 435 via Premier Sport's website, without any promo code.

Live La Liga streams on the Premier Player app will also be available. From October 1st, LaLigaTV will revert to its premium state, with a standard fee of £5.99 per month.
