Jose Mourinho's first full season as Spurs' coach has been given a massive boost, as Danish midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has joined the club for the next five seasons.
The footballer, who turned 25 last week, will join Spurs after a massive season with Southampton, where he played 38 games for the Saints. The central midfielder only managed to score five goals for the red and white side, but his duties on the pitch saw him becoming one of Southampton's youngest captains in history.
Hojbjerg's arrival will see Tottenham adding muscles to their midfield. The Danish footballer is set to replace Tanguy Ndombelé at midfield and will also add depth to Mourinho's squad.

Hojbjerg's former club and Tottenham agreed to include Kyle Walker-Peters in the negotiation. Walker-Peters was a member of the Saints' squad last season, but the club decided to make his stay permanent following the expiration of his loan deal.
