Polish striker Robert Lewandowski had a day to remember at Allianz Arena after scoring two goals and handing out two assists in Bayern München's 4-1 win over Chelsea.
Lewandowski earned a spot in the tournament's record books with his display on both legs of this tie (even if they were held months apart from each other), since he had a hand in all of the goals Bayern scored against the Premier League side. Such a feat had happened before, but it had been a while since the last time someone pulled it off.
7 - Robert Lewandowski was involved in all seven of Bayern Munich's goals against Chelsea in the Champions League this season (3 goals, 4 assists). He was the first player to register 3+ goals and assists against an opponent in a season since Luis Figo in 2004/05 vs Roma. Heaven. pic.twitter.com/6YnMObD34i

Moreover, Lewandowski's performance in this tie has also lifted him to a whole new category in the competition's all-time goalscorers' list.
Only 3 players EVER have scored 13+ goals in one @ChampionsLeague campaign.

Considering that Chelsea's defense was the worst among the top ten teams in the Premier League, Lewandowski's antics may seem easy to get. Nevertheless, he managed to be more influential than any team in the English top-flight against The Blues.
Robert Lewandowski has now been directly involved in seven goals against Chelsea this season (3 goals, 4 assists).
