The Frenchman was on target once again as the Red Devils sealed qualification to the quarter-finals.

Manchester United forward Anthony Martial landed another remarkable feat by scoring against LASK in Wednesday night's Europa League tie. The Frenchman sealed that the Red Devils' 2-1 win in the reverse leg of the clash, ensuring a 7-1 aggregate win for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men as they book their place in the quarterfinal.

A rather drab first half was followed by LASK grabbing the game's opener despite being miles away from a staging a comeback. A poorly defended corner-kick was expertly curled home on the edge of United's area by the visitors' Philipp Wiesinger in the 55th minute. Two minutes later, Jesse Lingard was set-up to restore parity with his second successive goal this season.

In the 84th minute, Solskjaer resorted to both offensive and defensive reinforcement with the introduction of Anthony Martial and debutant Teden Mengi. The former, having been on the pitch for barely four minutes, combined with Mata for what will become the eventual game winner.

As a result, Martial increased his tally for the season to 23. He is currently Manchester United's highest goalscorer of the season as he now has one goal more than Marcus Rashford across all competitions.

With his current haul, the Frenchman has gone level with the total number of goals he collectively managed in the 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 seasons. The attackers scored 11 and 12 goals respectively in all competitions.
