The Uruguayan striker's deal at Camp Nou concludes next season, and the North American league would certainly appreciate to have him around.

Luis Suárez's time at the Camp Nou seems to be closing to an end, and even if the player wants to extend his current deal with Los Blaugranas, an MLS club has reportedly tempted the Uruguayan with the possibility of joining the North American league.

According to a report by Mundo Deportivo, the South American ace and his agent have kept in touch with MLS representatives who are interested in signing the player. The team in question would be none other than Inter Miami, owned by David Beckham.

The Spanish newspaper suggests that Suárez is considering the idea of leaving Barcelona, but he would do that once the 2021-22 season is over. Allegedly, Suárez intends to fulfill a clause in his contract that would trigger an automatic one-year extension if he plays 60% or more of next season's games.

The footballer's intentions might be to extend his stay at Camp Nou at least for a couple more years, but one of Suárez's teammates with the Uruguayan National Team, Nicolás Lodeiro, has shared Suárez's views on the league and his desire to play there at some point in his career in a recent interview.

"Luis wants to come to the MLS. He likes the league. He is always asking about it. I hope he can join Seattle Sounders. Bringing him to the league might not be an easy task, but I believe that it's just a matter of time for us to see him playing here," Lodeiro stated.

Suárez is currently working out with Barcelona thinking about Los Blaugranas' UCL tie against Napoli. Only time will tell if this approach by the North American team is fruitful.
