Quique Setien's poor handling of the team's locker room seems to have everything to do with this new problem for Los Culés.

After not being able to hold on to their lead in La Liga, things don't seem to be improving at Camp Nou Stadium for Quique Setién.

The team has named the UEFA Champions League as its top priority, but two players seem to be more worried about their immediate future than having a direct hand in helping the team win the continental competition. Both of these cases emerged today, and it will take more than a smile to keep both footballers happy.

The first and worst case is that of Arthur Melo. The Brazilian ace failed to show up to have all coronavirus tests scheduled by the club, and he has demanded to be released from his deal at Camp Nou. According to reports by Marca and As, the midfielder is upset by Quique Setién's reaction to the news of his departure, which has prompted the footballer to try and end his deal with the Blaugranas as soon as possible, even if that means he will not be around to play in the UEFA Champions League.

The other case is that of Marc-André Ter Stegen. The outspoken goalkeeper has also cast doubts over his immediate future at the club in a recent interview by refusing to discuss the possibility of a contract extension. When asked about it, Ter Stegen uttered a brief "we'll see" response that has been taken as a sign of things to come at Camp Nou.

The UEFA Champions League is the last chance for Los Culés to win a major trophy this season, and judging by what is going on there, it seems that the players will put their personal goals first rather than working for the team to win more silverware.
