UEFA Champions League draw takes place on Friday as quarter-final and semi-final brackets will be decided in Nyon
The Champions League will not be making a return until August 7 but on Friday, July the 10th, the draw for the quarter-final and semi-final stages will take place. In an event in Nyon, which will be aired live on B/R Live for fans in the US, the brackets for the last-eight and last-four will be decided. Only four teams have booked their tickets to the quarter-finals – Atalanta, PSG, Atletico, and RB Leipzig – while the remaining four spots will go to these teams: Man City/Real Madrid, Juventus/Lyon, Barcelona/Napoli, and Bayern/Chelsea. North London Derby, Sheffield vs Chelsea the box-office fixtures of the Premier League's upcoming Matchday 35
Matchday 35 in the Premier League commences this weekend, with the Norwich vs West Ham and Watford vs Newcastle simultaneous 7:30 AM ET kick-offs ushering in the round. However, none of the aforementioned ties are the standout fixtures of the upcoming round. That honor goes to two games: Tottenham vs Arsenal and Sheffield vs Chelsea. The North London Derby is the more anticipated game of the two given the history and rivalry between these two clubs, with Mourinho's men and Arteta's side set to lock horns live on NBC Sports and Telemundo this Sunday. The odds of Spurs and the Gunners making the top four are slim given the form of fifth-placed Man United, but a sixth-placed finish is within reach as the north London duo are hot on the heels of Wolves. A single point separates the north London outfits, with Arsenal boasting that slim advantage, making this encounter all the more crucial.

Additionally, Chelsea will lock horns with Sheffield in what should be a tricky test for the London giants. Three of the Blues' last four league games will see them face clubs from the top half of the table, with this being the first of many difficult end-of-season hurdles. Saturday's clash with the Blades could be crucial in the top-four race, with Lampard's men keen on maintaining one-point hold on the third spot, having just leapfrogged Leicester City. UCL venues confirmed for the remaining round of 16 ties
UEFA have announced the venues for the remaining round of 16 ties. The Champions League will be moving to Lisbon for the quarter-finals onward but question lingered over the four unresolved last-16 ties (Barcelona vs Napoli, Man City vs Real Madrid, Bayern vs Chelsea, and Juventus vs Lyon). UEFA have now announced that those ties will NOT be moved to a neutral venue, meaning the Blaugrana, Bavarians, Citizens, and Old Lady will all play at home for the 2nd legs.
