According to a report by Marca, one of the first team players is currently in quarantine after hosting a friend that tested positive for coronavirus, and while the footballer's first test for the disease came back negative, Los Blancos don't want to take second chances on this matter.
The player in question is Luka Jovic, who has not been able to prove his worth during his maiden season with the Spanish giants. In fact, Jovic came close to being left out of the team due to his decision to breach quarantine rules in Serbia, where he even got in trouble with local authorities.
La Liga's health protocol demands all players to undergo two tests before being allowed back to the team's training sessions. Even so, the report by the Spanish newspaper suggests that Los Blancos will test Jovic as many times as necessary before he returns to the team's workout sessions, especially with La Liga so close to its end and with the team on such an impressive winning streak.
