Juventus-Atalanta highlights Serie A MD 32: live streaming, kick-off times, TV listings

July 10, 2020 By Michelle Bonsu
Live Soccer TV gives a quick overview of the upcoming clash featuring Juventus and Atalanta as well as provides info on where to watch all the other games on MD 32.

Matchday 31 had some very interesting results, with Milan finally ending their frustrating run against Juve as they picked up a 4-2 win, and struggling Lecce shocking Lazio by earning a 2-1 victory to ruin the Aquile's chances of winning their first Scudetto in two decades. In addition, Hellas Verona also shocked Inter by snatching a point, which helps Atalanta in their quest for sealing third spot and in fact, as things stand, La Dea just may be able to even snatch second if things go their way.

Here's all you need to know ahead of matchday 32 in Serie A.

Match of the round: Juventus - Atalanta

Juventus will be keen on getting back to winning ways following a surprise 4-2 reversal to Milan in their last match, but they will face a tough test against visiting side Atalanta. The Bergamo outfit have been keen to show that last season's top four finish wasn't just a fluke, and as of now, they find themselves in third spot and are now even applying pressure on second-placed Lazio. Gian Piero Gasperini's men have not lost a single match since the league restarted, and in fact, will come into this game on a nine game winning streak; the last time they lost a game was in January when they were beaten 2-1 by relegation candidates SPAL.

Talking points ahead of matchday 32

How will Juventus respond to shock loss to AC Milan?

The Bianconeri will be coming into their match with Atalanta having suffered a surprise loss to Milan, and that defeat was even more notable considering that Maurizio Sarri's men were 2-0 ahead for most of the match. They do hold a comfortable lead in the Scudetto race and for all intents and purposes, it looks like the Turin giants will successfully defend their league title this season. However, Atalanta have really been on a kick all season, and the interruption of the league due to COVID-19 hasn't put a dent in La Dea's stride at all.

They're the highest scoring team in the league, with a whopping 85 goals scored so far, which is quite impressive considering they don't have any real "big name" strikers in their ranks and have conceded just 39 goals, showing that they are also quite solid at the back as well. For all intents and purposes, Gian Piero Gasperini's side will certainly present a tough opponent when they arrive in Turin this weekend and could pose a major threat to Sarri's team, who haven't always looked on top of their game this term.

Following their impressive win over Juventus, can Milan keep up resurgence in form?

Milan have looked like a totally new side since being dumped out of the Coppa Italia, and Stefano Pioli finally ended his frustating hoodoo against Juventus last round. Now, he'll be hoping to nick a win against Napoli as the Rossoneri chase down a Europa League spot. The win over Juve temporarily lifted Milan into fifth, but they've now slipped back down into seventh as the table has now resettled.

The Rossoneri will be pitted against ex-midfielder and manager Gennaro Gattuso when they lock horns with Napoli, which should make for a very interesting reunion. Gattuso, of course, has already won his first trophy with his new side Napoli after beating a Juventus side led by Sarri, who ironically was unable to win any silverware when he himself was in charge of the Partenopei from 2015 to 2018.

It will be interesting to see if Milan will be able to keep up this excellent form. Since the league restarted, Pioli's squad have not lost a single game in Serie A, with the only blip being a frustrating draw with struggling SPAL who are really desperate to maintain in the top flight. They've beaten Lazio, Roma, floundering Lecce, and now Juventus. Napoli, meanwhile, have won the Coppa Italia, while drawing Inter, beating Hellas Verona, SPAL, Roma, Genoa, and unfortuantely ended up on the wrong end of a 2-0 score-line against Atalanta. This will be a match not to miss.
