The relationship between the Blaugrana ace and his boss does not seem to be on the best terms.

Barcelona's run in La Liga does not seem to be heading to a new title. Tensions between the boss and some of his players are normal due to that fact, but what happened last Saturday between Lionel Messi, Quique Setién, and his assistant Eder Sarabia was just disrespectful.

Footage of the game between Celta and Los Blaugranas emerged today where you can watch Messi snubbing Sarabia and Setién during one of the water breaks agreed by La Liga to take place in every game.

The video shows Messi approaching the sideline to grab a bottle of water, while Sarabia is trying to relay some instructions to him. In what can only be consiered a sign of disrespect, Messi walks past Sarabia without even looking at him. To make matters worse, Sarabia asks Luis Suárez to call Messi back to the sideline, and just when you'd expect Messi to exchange some thoughts with Sarabia, he just goes back to the cooler to drop the bottle of water he had picked up in the first place.

A deeper look into the video lets everyone see Messi mumbling some words right after he has picked up the bottle of water. Although it is not possible to know his exact words, the movement of his mouth hints that "La Pulga" told Sarabia to shut up twice.

This gesture by Messi all but confirms the complicated relationship between the team's heavyweights and Setién's staff, which were later confirmed by Luis Suárez harsh words against the boss for his lack of insight on the games where Los Culés have dropped points. Be that as it may, Barcelona players need to pull themselves together and keep their eyes on the prize, even if that means having to get along with Setién and Co.
