The Giallorossi also picked up a win in their first game back after three months in action, with Edin Dzeko's brace enough to dispatch Sampdoria and keep the Lupi firmly in fifth spot. That makes it three wins on the spin for Paulo Fonseca's side, who will be looking to do a double over the Diavolo when they arrive at the Stadio San Siro on Sunday.

Although Atalanta are the clear favorites to win their game against Udinese, Roma still likely haven't given up hopes of potentially breaking into the top four if La Dea stumble at some point, and so picking up maximum points against every single opponent - whether they sit in the bottom or top half of the table - is the most obvious way to ensure they have a shot at possibly qualifying for Champions Leauge football.
