Bayern will look to take one step closer towards securing another league title, but will have to take on Gladbach without two key players. Live Soccer TV's match preview provides match facts, team news, and global broadcast listings for Bayern Munich vs. Borussia M'gladbach.

Preview: Bayern München vs Borussia M'gladbach

League leaders and reigning champions Bayern Munich come into this game as the only team who are still unbeaten so far in 2020, but are facing a major personnel crisis ahead of the visit of Borussia Moenchengladbach. For starters, Hansi Flick will have to make do without not just his top goalscorer, but his top assist provider. Both Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Müller are suspended for this game after picking up yellow cards in Bayern's 4-2 win against Leverkusen last week.

Bayern will be loathe to drop points here, but fortunately for die Roten, they have built up a seven point lead over Dortmund thanks to their hard-fought 1-0 win over Dortmund in Der Klassiker. That game really can be viewed as the title deciding match, and having seen off their nearest rivals, at the very least, they can breathe easy. Even if they aren't successful here and Gladbach do win, they're still four points ahead in the title race.

From Gladbach's perspective, the absence of Lewandowski and Müller is obviously good news, as they seek to pick up a much needed win as they aim to strenghthen their grip on a top four spot. The visitors, however, will also be missing their own top marksman, Alassane Plea also due to a ban. Still, given that Gladbach have won three of their last five meetings with Bayern, this just may be the perfect opportunity for Marco Rose to nick three points against the league leaders to further strengthen their top-four ambitions.

Team news: Bayern München vs Borussia M'gladbach

Bayern Munich: Hansi Flick has a bit of an injury crisis on his hands at the moment. Both Philipps Coutinho and Corentin Tolisso are still out with ankle injuries, and are now joined by Lars Mai with the same problem. Thiago is also out following groin surgery, while Niklas Süle is still not match fit. The latest to join the injury list is Serge Gnabry, who could miss this game after suffering a fall in training and injuring his back. Finally, if that wasn't bad enough, both Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Müller are suspended, leaving a big hole in attack for Flick's starting XI.

Borussia M'Gladbach: The visitors come into this match with a whole slate of absentees. They've been dealt a major blow with top scorer Alassane Plea out due to ban. In addition, key midfielder Denis Zakaria is still out with a knee injury, veteran American international Fabian Johnson continues to struggle with muscular problems, and Tobias Strobl is still on the treatment table with a hamstring injury. Further absentees could include Swiss international Breel Embolo (calf injury) and Raffael (foot injury), but coach Marco Rose will be really hoping that Embolo can shake off a calf injury to feature for this match.
