Who will face Leverkusen in the 2020 DFB-Pokal final? Live Soccer TV's preview provides match facts and team news ahead of the second DFB-Pokal semis featuring Bayern and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Preview: Bayern Munich vs Eintracht Frankfurt

Hosts Bayern Munich come into this match having eased to a relatively comfortable 4-2 win over Bayer Leverkusen last weekend, and die Roten are cruising along to a record-setting eighth straight Bundesliga title. They have yet to lose a game so far in 2020 and are firmly in control of the title race after defeating Dortmund 1-0 in Der Klassiker last month. The win over Leverkusen came at a huge price, however, as both Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller picked up yellow cards in that game, and so will be suspended for the team's next fixture. That being said, though, both stars will be able to feature here and so will be definitely deployed in the starting XI.

Now, the Bavarian titans will turn their attention towards part two of the domestic double: the DFB-Pokal. No team has won this cup more times than Bayern, but their upcoming opponents, Eintracht Frankfurt, notably pulled off a huge upset only two years ago when they beat them 3-1 in this competition's final to lift the cup.

That will still be firmly on many of the Bayern players' minds when they face Eintracht for what will be the second time in just a few weeks. Eintracht notably beat Bayern 5-1 earlier this season when die Roten were truly at their nadir, but were served a cold dish of revenge a bit over a fortnight ago as Bayern defeated them 5-2 at the Allianz Arena.

As for Adi Hütter's side, their solid start to the season after the interruption due to COVID-19 came to an abrupt halt last round. Eintracht come into this tie off the back of a surprising 2-0 loss to Mainz, a team who have flirted with relegation at various points during this season. They are now in a very disappointing 11th spot, meaning that they won't qualify for the Europa League - unless if they can manage to win the DFB-Pokal - but at the very least they are not in danger of relegation. However, they will have to take on Bayern without the services of two key players - one due to a long-term ban and the other as a result of injury.
