Fans in the USA will be able to follow the DFB-Pokal semis on ESPN and its affiliate networks starting from June 9th.

Fans in the USA will be in for a treat starting from Tuesday, June 9th as ESPN will be carrying both semi-final clashes of the latest edition of the DFB-Pokal.

64 teams initially started out in this annual competition, which was inaugurated in 1935, and now has been whittled down to the final four who now are vying for a chance to get their hands on the coveted cup.

First on the menu will be a tie between lower tier side Saarbrücken, who will be hoping to upset the odds against ambitious side Bayer Leverkusen who are currently battling to secure a top four spot in the Bundesliga. This match, which kicks off at 14:30 EST (11:30 PST) will be called on ESPN by Adrian Healey and Taylor Twellman. For Spanish-speakers, check out this same match on ESPN Deportes, where commentary will be handled by Fernando Palomo and Andres Agulla.

On Wednesday, June 10th, part two of this mouth-watering double header kicks off as all-time DFB-Pokal winners Bayern Munich face Eintracht Frankfurt. It was not too long ago that Eintracht shocked German football fans by beating die Roten in the final, and they will be looking to secure their spot in yet another final against a Bayern side who are unbeaten so far in 2020.

This game will also commence at 14:30 EST (11:30 PST) and will be shown on ESPN, with Healey and Twellman handling English language coverage while Palomo and Agulla will be in charge of Spanish commentary on ESPN's sister network over at ESPN Deportes.

Finally, on Sunday, July 4th, the DFB-Pokal final will be covered on both ESPN/ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes, with a kick-off time at 14:00 EST (11:00 PST), so there will be a great match to enjoy as you relax on Independence Day.

On that day, will we see a "traditional" final of Leverkusen vs Bayern? Or a clash of the underdogs featuring Saarbrücken and Eintracht?
