A second half goal for the Polish striker was enough to also write his name in the league's record book one more time.

Robert Lewandowski has truly made a name for himself in the Bundesliga, and it seems rightful to see the footballer reaching one more personal milestone while playing in this league.

The Polish striker scored a second half header for Die Roten as they secured three more points in the title race, but the real news came when the footballer broke the 30-goal barrier for the third time since he joined the Bundesliga.

With this milestone, Lewandowski joined Gerd Müller as the only men to score over 30 goals in three different Bundesliga seasons, but Müller did so five times, so that can't be considered Lewa's record today.

The real deal for the Polish footballer comes when you realize he has scored 44 goals in all competitions this year, which is in itself a personal record for the striker. His best tally before this campaign came in the 2016-17 season.

In fact, Lewandowski has even managed to score the same number of goals as some teams in the current 2019-20 season.

The Polish striker will not be around next week to help Bayern, as he picked his fifth yellow card today, which consequently carries a one-match ban.
