The nerazzurri are trying to make the most out of the deal that would take one of their best players to the Camp Nou next season.

Inter's intentions to get the most out of a deal for Lautaro Martínez have hit new heights, as the new approach by the nerazzurri to let their star striker leave the club would involve a massive amount of money from Los Blaugranas and not one, but two current Barcelona footballers.

According to a report by As, Barcelona has received a counter offer from Inter, which would see two of the team's top earners leaving the club. The report suggests that Barcelona would need to part ways with Arturo Vidal and Antoine Griezmann to let Lautaro leave. Vidal's deal would be permanent, while Griezmann would join the nerazzurri on loan.

Added to that, As suggests that Inter has asked Barcelona for a $98M fee to let Martínez go. The striker's buyout clause was reportedly set at $111M before the coronavirus pandemic, but Inter is trying to take advantage of the Blaugrana's needs to offload some of their players.

The Spanish newspaper adds that the possibility of watching Martínez join Los Culés may not be as certain as initially expected, especially since Martinez is interested in joining Liverpool as soon as possible. Only time will tell where the player will wind up, but his future will be one of the top transfer sagas of the next window.
