The French midfielder is still being linked with a move away from Old Trafford, and this new suitor could start a tug of war between two Serie A sides.

Paul Pogba seems to be heading for an exit away from Manchester United, and while his final destination could be a Serie A team, it wouldn't necessarily see him returning to Juventus.

According to a report by Tuttosport, the Frenchman is still being linked with a move away from Old Trafford. Real Madrid and Juventus have openly admitted their interest in signing the player, but one more team has reportedly shown interest in entering the battle to sign him, and that team is none other than Inter Milan.

The Italian newspaper suggests that Pogba's signing could take place if Inter can seal a deal for Mauro Icardi, who's currently on loan at PSG. The French side is seemingly interested in signing the player on a permanent basis, and their interest could pave the way for Pogba's arrival to the Giuseppe Meazza.

Pogba would also team up one more time with Antonio Conte, following their two-year stint together at Juventus. Pogba flourished under Conte, and having the coach around one more time would be quite interesting to watch.

Negotiations are believed to be in the early stages, since the coronavirus pandemic will surely have an effect on the transfer window for the next season. Moreover, Inter wants to make sure that Icardi ends up leaving the club for good, which would mean they can splash the cash to sign the Frenchman.
