Apparently, the Argentine ace is not as cool and calm as he has shown to the world.

Lionel Messi is seen by most as one of the best players of all time, but some of his colleagues don't share the same idea about the Argentine.

The player's antics during Jose Mourinho's era at the Bernabeu left a bad image among some of his former rivals, including former Real Madrid goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek, who narrated in a book how Messi used to get on Sergio Ramos' nerves while also getting on the Portuguese tactician's head.

"I've seen Messi up close. Pepe and Ramos were insulted in a way you would not expect from a person who goes around calling himself a good person," Dudek wrote.

Dudek also aimed his attacks towards Pep Guardiola in an excerpt of the book.

"Messi is a phony, he likes to provoke his rivals, and the same goes for Pep Guardiola. The thought they were really smart by doing that, and sometimes their timing was perfect when they insulted their opponents. That really hurt Jose Mourinho and the rest of the team.

Dudek also had words for Cristiano Ronaldo, and even if he referred to the Portuguese footballer as "arrogant", he believes that he is an honest guy, which is more than he can say about Messi.

"Cristiano Ronaldo is arrogant, but he is an authentic guy. What you see is what you get, and he doesn't care if people like it or not, but he is true to himself. He is a bit self-centered, but in a good way. He preferred to win a game 2-1 with him scoring both goals than watching the team win 5-0 with goals scored by the rest of his team-mates," Dudek concluded.

The Polish goalkeeper only played 12 games for Los Blancos during his four-year stay at the Bernabeu, but as you may know, the top moment in his career came during the 2005 UEFA Champions League final, when he saved two penalty kicks in the shootout that ended with Liverpool claiming the title.
