The Juventus superstar is spreading positivity during these difficult times.

Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has taken to social media to share an inspiration call for unity during these tough times. The coronavirus continues taking its toll on humanity but one of the greatest footballers to have graced the beautiful game has issued a rallying call to his fans and the general public.

The five-time Ballon d’Or is currently in Portugal due to the lockdown. Serie A, as well as all the other major leagues in Europe, has been suspended due to the coronavirus, with many speculating whether the season will be cancelled.

In the midst of all of this, Ronaldo has urged everyone to remain united and in support of each other. The 35-year-old posted a picture of himself sporting two face masks: one with the flag of his home country Portugal and one with the flag of Italy, where he currently resides.

"In this very difficult moment for our world it is important we unite and support each other," Cristiano wrote.

"Let's all do what we can to help."

Will fans get to see Cristiano back in action this season? This remains up in the air. The Prime Minister of Italy recently extended the country’s lockdown until May 03; however, the sports minister Vincenzo Spadafora is optimistic of resuming sports activities the following day.
