Zinedine Zidane has targeted one more Blues' player as a transfer target for the next window.

Real Madrid's intentions to boost their squad for next season have continued even during the coronavirus pause, and it seems that Los Blancos are ready to enter negotiations once again with Chelsea.

According to 90min, Zinedine Zidane has kept on working to identify those players that can boost his squad for next season, and since the world of football is set to change due to the pandemic, the possibility of hiring one of his compatriots seems closer than ever.

The digital media outlet suggests that Real Madrid will try to hire N'Golo Kanté next summer, in order to have two options as holding midfielder. Right now, Los Blancos only have Casemiro to deputise in that spot of the pitch, and the need for a reinforcement is evident for Zidane and for many experts.

Kante joined Chelsea right after being a crucial member of Leicester City's historical season in 2016. He has played 164 games in all comps for the Blues, but this last season has been a bit complicated for the Frenchman due to injuries.

The possibility of joining Zidane at Real Madrid may see Kante's career taking a massive turn, but only time will tell if Roman Abramovich is ready to let the player leave the London-based club, especially if he still has three years left in his contract.
