It is the response Tottenham fans have likely feared for ages.

Harry Kane is undoubtedly one of the deadliest strikers in world football at the moment. As a result, many speculate whether the English superstar will be leaving Tottenham any time soon in his search for silverware.

The Three Lions captain is a product of the Spurs academy and is the pride of the north London giants. However, given their failure to win trophies during their highs under Pochettino, many believe it is inevitable that the striker will move on to a bigger club.

Kane even hinted at this on social media recently. The 26-year-old spoke with Jamie Redknapp on Instagram Live and was asked about his future in north London and whether he would stay at the club forever out of loyalty.

The attacker admitted that his ambitions could take him elsewhere if the club fail to challenge and win trophies. This answer might leave Spurs fans worried and might please Real Madrid, a team reportedly interested in the Englishman.

"I'm an ambitious player, I want to improve and get better,” Kane said.

"I want to become one of the top players so it all depends on what happens as a team and how we progress.

"It's not a definite 'yes I'll stay there forever', but it's not a 'no' either."

The Englishman also offered his thoughts on the suspended Premier League season. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the English top-flight has been halted and there are speculations that the current campaign could be wrapped up in the summer.

However, Harry is against the current season going on past June. The Tottenham sensation admitted that once June comes to an end, everyone should begin looking forward to the 2020/21 campaign.

"I know the Premier League will do everything it can to finish the season," Kane said.

"There needs to be a point where enough is enough.

"Probably the limit for me is the end of June.

"Playing into July or August and pushing next season back, I don't see too much benefit in that.

"Obviously I don't know too much about behind the scenes and financially.

"If the season's not completed by the end of June we need to look at the options and just look forward to next season."
