Former Barcelona superstar Ronaldinho has helped a team of inmates to win a futsal tournament in a Paraguayan prison. The 39-year-old Brazilian legend starred in the competition to guide his side in winning a pig in the 5-a-side competition.
The former Ballon d'Or winner is currently being detained at Agrupacion Especializada in Paraguay after entering the country with a fake passport alongside his brother. On Friday, an extraordinary event unfolded with the ex-Barca and AC Milan star who won it all in his professional football career stealing the spotlight in a prison football competition.
According to Paraguayan newspaper Hoy, Ronaldinho - who was initially enjoying the game as a spectator - was convinced to join in albeit being hesitant at first. The former Brazilian ended up scoring five goals in the 11-2 victory for his side while also managing six assists to seal his Man of The Match performance.

Considering the lack of football on TV, surely this should have been broadcast?pic.twitter.com/MphMxbqhXb
Rather surprisingly, the former Barcelona ace and his teammates were rewarded with a 16kg smoked pig as the prize for winners. Below are some fan reactions regarding the incident:
