The Colombian ace has not been able to prove his worth to Zinedine Zidane, and he could be ready to end his stint at the Bernabeu for good.

James Rodríguez's future has been the subject of much speculation since the beginning of the season, and judging by his poor performances with Real Madrid, it seems that the Colombian's dreams of being a key member of the team will not be happening.

With that in mind, his agent has come up with an alternative to see the player shining again, and that alternative would see him joining one of the most interesting teams in the last two seasons of the English Premier League.

According to a report by Marca, the Colombian ace might find a way out of the Bernabeu to join Wolverhampton this summer, taking under consideration the business relationship between the player's agent, Jorge Mendes, and the team's hierarchy. As of now, the wolfpack has eight players in their squad represented by Mendes, along with coach Nuno Espirito Santo. James would make it ten if things go as planned.

Wolverhampton's option comes as a good alternative for Rodríguez, who has only been able to play 13 games this season, with one goal and two assists to his name. His role with Nuno's men would surely be quite different than the one he has at Real Madrid, where he has been left out of the squad several times by Zinedine Zidane.

While there are no numbers regarding how much money Real Madrid would ask for the footballer, the good relationship between all the parties involved could pave the way to see James Rodríguez escaping his Real Madrid nightmare. Only time will tell if this move comes true.
