Arsenal's chances of ending the season among the top six teams seem to be slim, and even though they may not be able to offer potential new players the chance to play European football next year, the Gunners are already preparing a number of bids to sign new footballers during the offseason.
According to a report by the Mirror, Arsenal is keen on bringing in one PSG player that will be out of contract this summer and would fit Mikel Arteta's lineup like a glove. The Gunners tried to hire him in the winter, but Les Parisiens' demands were just too much for them to meet. Now, with his contract about to end, Arsenal can only make their move thinking about paying the player's wages.
That footballer is none other than Layvin Kurzawa, who has played 22 games for PSG this season. The defender has been quite effective when he has been required to step up by coach Thomas Tuchel, but playing second-fiddle behind Juan Bernat has forced the Frenchman to look for other employment opportunities.
Tuchel is reportedly interested in keeping the player around, but since PSG's hierarchy has not offered Kurzawa a contract extension, the player will most-likely leave Parc des Princes this summer.
Kurzawa could be one of many PSG players leaving this summer, as reported by Paris United in the past few days. The Frenchman and Edinson Cavani are among those footballers that will see their contract with the Ligue 1 titans expiring, which will force them to look for pastures new.
