The German boss had openly stated he was not an expert on that matter, and he took the opportunity to emphasize what he thinks are the right things to do when it comes to handling the epidemic.

Jurgen Klopp faced the media prior to the game against Atlético, and contrary to what usually happens in his press conferences, this time Klopp did not like one question regarding the coronavirus and the actions that should be implemented to spread the disease.

The German boss got into an argument with ESPN journalist Martin Ainstein, who asked about the possible fear of spreading the disease among players and fans and the role football should play to combat the disease. The coach did not take the question well, since he had already voiced his thoughts on the subject last week, and decided to criticize Ainstein's take on the matter and how he was not afraid of spreading the disease but he was OK with the fact that he was allowed to travel to England to cover the game rather than doing that from home.

Klopp added that all 22 players on the pitch are disease-free, which should be considered by the journalist before talking about how football is a contact sport and anyone could pick up the virus because of that.

Have a look at Klopp's answers on this subject and how, in the end, he admitted that Liverpool will do anything in their power to prevent the spread of the disease, which evidently includes following UEFA's orders to play the game behind closed doors if necessary.
