The Brazilian goalkeeper was forced to commit another blunder to aid the Red Devils see off the Citizens in Sunday's Premier League encounter.

Manchester City was made to pay the ultimate price in Sunday's derby with the Blues goalkeeper Ederson gifting the Red Devils a goal at the latter stage of the encounter. A poor sense of judgment on the part of the Brazilian resulted in Scot McTominay smashing home his side's second of the game.

With more than 90 minutes played and the 1-0 scoreline pointing at a win for Manchester United, City's Ederson presented the former with the perfect opportunity to seal the win with yet another piece of goalkeeping error. Prior to the mishap, the 26-year-old former committed a blunder in the first half by failing to save Anthony Martial's opening goal at the near post.

In the latter incident, the goalkeeper - after saving Fred's pass intended to find Daniel James - ended up throwing the ball into the path of Scot McTominay in a bid to start a rapid counter-attack. The United academy product simply hit the ball all the way from the half-way line to spark celebrations inside Old Trafford.
