Chelsea will look to maintain their grip on a top four berth as they take on Everton in an all-Blues clash.

Preview: Chelsea vs Everton

Chelsea come into this game having picked up a very impressive 2-0 victory over current Premier League leaders Liverpool in the FA Cup. Prior to that, they were held to a frustrating 2-2 draw against Bournemouth after their disappointing 3-0 loss to serial Bundesliga winners Bayern Munich, and now Frank Lampard will be pitted against former coach Carlo Ancelotti as his young side welcome Everton.

Following this match, Chelsea will take on relegation-threatened Aston Villa, a game in which they will surely want to pick up all three points, before they take a much-unwanted trip to the Allianz Arena for the second leg of their clash against Bayern. Given that they are pretty much out of the Champions League at this point, the Blues are really now focused on making sure they secure a top-four spot and trying to win some domestic silverware in the form of the FA Cup.

Having won just one of their last five league games, Chelsea will want to get back on track here. Everton come into this match sitting in 12th place but will be hoping to cause their hosts some major issues after snatching a point against Manchester United in their last fixture. Although Everton have failed to score in their last three trips to this ground, they will be looking to avoid going four sans a goal for the first time since 1935. However, they have historically struggled at Stamford Bridge, where they are winless in their last 24 away fixtures - since 1994.

That being said, Chelsea have lost their last two games against Everton, and they will naturally be hoping to avoid making it a third straight defeat as former player faces his ex-manager in an "all-Blues" derby on Sunday afternoon.

Team news: Chelsea vs Everton

Chelsea: Both N'Golo Kante and young striker Tammy Abraham are set to miss this fixture due to adductor and ankle injuries respectively. In addition, Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Andreas Christensen are all major doubts for this game as they all continue recovery from their respective injuries. Finally, midfielder Jorginho also misses out as the Brazilian-born Italian international is suspended for the next two games after picking up too many cards.

Everton: Defender Seamus Coleman is out as a result of a thigh injury, while Cenk Tosun, Morgan Schneiderlin and Jean-Philippe Gbamin are all still on the treatment table due to knee and thigh problems. However, Lucas Digne has reportedly recovered from a calf issue.
