The Egpytian ace celebrated this landmark game with a lovely goal against the Cherries.

Liverpool returned to action in the Premier League against Bournemouth after suffering their first defeat in the English top-flight this season last weekend. The clash with the Cherries also saw Mohamed Salah reach an excellent feat.

Things did not start well for the Reds despite boasting the home advantage over Eddie Howe’s side. After only nine minutes of play, the Merseyside giants found themselves trailing 1-0 after conceding courtesy of a Wilson goal.

However, it did not take long for Klopp’s side to find their way back as Salah equalized in the 25th minute. This goal was special as the Egyptian ace was making his 100th appearance in the Premier League.

The former Roma ace joined the century club and found the back of the net on that special occasion. He is also the Liverpool player with the most number of goals in his first 100 games in the English top-flight, scoring a whopping 70 times – the previous record was held by Torres (63).

A look at his stats shows just how impressive Salah has been in the Premier League. In his 100 games, the African superstar has contributed to an astounding 94 goals, assisting 24 times on top of his 70 strikes. It is time to put more respect to Salah’s name.
