What is Chelsea and Liverpool's form ahead of this match?

Chelsea enters this game with only one win in their last four games. The Blues lost against Manchester United in the Premier League, (2-0), where then beat by Bayern in the first leg of their UEFA Championa League tie, and were also limited to a 2-2 draw in their weekend game against Bournemouth. Their only win during this run took place on February 22, when they defeated Mourinho's Tottenham with a 2-1 score.

Liverpool has also lost two out of their last three, and both of those losses saw the Reds go blank in front of goal. They lost a tight 1-0 game against Atlético, and then they claimed a narrow 3-2 win over West Ham. The Reds were beaten by Watford 3-0 last weekend, in what saw their massive unbeaten streak in the Premier League coming to an end.

How did Chelsea and Liverpool get to this stage of the FA Cup?

Chelsea was handed byes for the first two rounds. Then, the Blues won their first game of the 2019-20 FA Cup at home, when they beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 on January 5. Later this year, Frank Lampard's men beat Hull City at KCOM Stadium with a 2-1 score.

Liverpool got to this stage of the competition after being handed byes in the first two rounds. The Reds went on to beat Everton in the third round, and then the Reds eliminated Shrewsbury Town with a 1-0 win in the replay clash between them.
