How to watch Arsenal vs Olympiakos

UEFA Europa League: How to watch Arsenal vs Olympiakos live on February 27, 2020

February 27, 2020 By Ali M.
The Gunners will host the Greek side for the second leg of their round of 32 clash, with the north London giants aiming to book their ticket to the last 16.

What is the form of Arsenal compare to Olympiakos?

Arsenal head into this tie on the back of a three game winning streak, beating Olympiakos in between their back-to-back victories in the league over Newcastle and Everton. In 2020, the Gunners are unbeaten, winning six of their 10 matches and drawing the remaining four.

Olympiakos, meanwhile, bounced back from that first-leg defeat against Arsenal by beating PAOK 1-0 in the league. This was their fifth triumph in their last seven games across all competitions, with that 1-0 loss to the Gunners being their only defeat.

Arsenal vs Olympiakos head-to-head record

The recent encounter was the ninth overall meeting between these English and Greek sides. The first six saw each team win the home fixture while their last two clashes in the Champions League saw Arsenal win 3-0 at Olympiakos but lose 3-2 at home. A similar defeat at the Emirates Stadium would see the Gunners bow out of the competition but it’s important to note that that was their only home lose against a Greek club (W6, D2).

Team news

Kieran Tierney and Saeed Kolasinac both remain on the sidelines, with the latter picking up an injury early into his return against Everton. As a result, Saka will continue in his left-back role, which should be a big concern given his excellent displays in that position.

Soares and Chambers are also on the sidelines but Pablo Mari could make his debut in this tie. Lacazette, who was an unused sub in the 3-2 win over Everton, will likely return to the lineup as well as Matteo Guendouzi.

As for the visitors, they will be without Ruben Semedo who will miss this tie due to suspension. Hillal Soudani is also unavailable due to a serious knee injury.
