According to reports in Italy, there are six players set to leave the club due to their poor performances this campaign.

Juventus' first season under Maurizio Sarri has not been what fans and experts expected, and that has escalated all the way to the team's top executives.

The bianconeri are currently struggling to hold on to their top spot in the Italian top-flight, and president Andrea Agnelli believes that the form of some of his key players is to blame for their lack of dominance in the domestic competition. With that in mind, Agnelli has held meetings with sporting directors Fabio Paratici and Pavel Nedved to determine which players might leave the club by the end of the season.

According to reports from Italy, the names mentioned in this report are those of Miralem Pjanic, Gonzalo Higuaín, Douglas Costa, Blaise Matuidi, Federico Bernardeschi and Alex Sandro.

With two losses in their last three Serie A games, these names have surfaced as the scapegoats of what has turned out to be a dismal season, especially since only two of them (Higuaín and Pjanic) have found the back of the net. In fact, winger Douglas Costa has only been able to hand out three assists, while Federico Bernardeschi has neither scored nor handed out any assists.

The team's hierarchy also believes that the squad needs to be strengthened by young, hungry talents, since these players seem to have gotten used to the team winning domestic titles and not making things happen in the UEFA Champions League. Needless to say, their future could be sorted out during the upcoming UEFA Champions League ties against Lyon.
