The Blues have an oral agreement with the Dutch side that will see the Moroccan ace move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Summer is still some months away but according to reports, Chelsea have already secured a signing for the upcoming transfer window. According to De Telegraaf, that man is Hakim Ziyech.

The report claims that the Blues have an oral agreement for the Ajax talent worth reportedly $58M. This should be an excellent addition for the Blues as the Moroccan is a highly-rated attacker.

Not only is the 26-year-old a creative player, but he is also a proven goalscorer who played a crucial role in his club’s road to the Champions League semi-finals last season. As he resulted, he was also sought after by the likes of Man United and Arsenal but Chelsea have won that race.

Lampard reportedly wanted to bring Ziyech in during the January window and after missing out, he ordered the board to reach an agreement for the summer. However, it is being claimed that a condition for signing the Moroccan is qualifying for the Champions League, something the west London giants are yet to secure.

They are in the fourth and final Champions League spot. However, they boast a slim two-point advantage over Sheffield but have a game in-hand.
