Up and onwards for Antonio Conte's army!

Inter Milan went level on point with Serie A rivals Juventus following Sunday's remarkable Milan derby win. The Nerazzuri staged an epic fight at the Giuseppe Meazza to clinch the all-important three points with a dramatic 4-2 victory.

Two first half goals from AC Milan's Ante Rebic and Zlatan Ibrahimovic almost painted a different ending to the night's encounter but an exceptional second half performance by the hosts presented a different scenario. First, Marcelo Brozovic pulled one back for Conte's side six minutes after the break before Matias Vecino grabbed the equalizer less than 120 seconds later.

A stunning header by Stefan de Vrij sent Inter ahead in the 70th minute and Romelu Lukaku sealed off the win with a low strike, three minutes into the additional time. In essence, the day's outcome could well define how the Serie A table would look like at the end of the season with both the Nerazzuri and Juventus now tied on points at 54 after 23 matches.

In terms of historic significance, this was only the second time in history that Inter came back to win a Serie A game after trailing by two or more goals. The first happened back in November 1949 where the Nerrazzuri sealed victory in the encounter via a 6-5 scoreline. Also, for the first time since 1983, Inter has won four successive Serie A games against Milan.
