The Portuguese boss shared his thoughts on Klopp's decision to give his players some time off ahead of their replay against Shrewsbury Town.

Once again, Jose Mourinho has found one more reason to criticize one of the best coaches in the world. This time, the Special One discussed Liverpool's decision to field a squad full of youngsters when they face Shrewsbury Town in a replay of their Fifth Round clash in the FA Cup.

Klopp also decided that he would not be around to coach the game, leaving U-23 coach Neil Critchley in charge. Today, Mourinho decided to aim a dig at the German boss, mainly due to the message it gives to those players under his command.

Jurgen Klopp is Jurgen Klopp. He does what he wants. He does what his board want him to do or allows him to do. He does what the rules allow him to do or does not allow him to do. He does what he wants," Mourinho said.

The Portuguese coach dismissed the idea of giving his players time to rest rather than having to play in a similar game, especially with a winter break in the middle of their vacation.

"If you ask me if I prefer to play tomorrow or already have the boys on holidays I prefer to play tomorrow. To have them on holidays would mean that we are knocked out in the first game in Southampton and it is better to draw.It is another extra effort for the boys, but I prefer (to be playing) and the fans also prefer," Mou added.

The former Chelsea boss ended his presser by urging fans to support the club in their clash against Southampton, even if this is a game no one thought they'd be playing.

"They have been in the stadium against Middlesbrough in the last round and I think they are going to be there tomorrow again. Let's go. We are in the competition, so until we aren't we will fight," Mourinho concluded.
