Sunday's clash between Tottenham and Man City was nothing short of thrilling, with the weekend clash providing everything – goals, controversies, a penalty, and a red card.
However, one incident, in particular, has gone viral and it is one of Jose Mourinho's most hilarious touchline antics. This moment occurred during Man City's first-half penalty miss.
The Citizens were awarded a spot-kick shortly before the break, a decision which Jose felt was wrong, but saw Gundogan's effort saved by Hugo Lloris. However, Sterling attempted to score from the rebound but fell to the floor after a coming together with the Spurs goalkeeper.
This later led to a VAR review in order to determine whether Pep's side should be awarded a second spot-kick. The verdict was no penalty, a decision which had the Special One laughing at first.
However, after making his way back to the dugout, his assistant reminded him that Sterling was already on a yellow card and could have been sent off for diving. In a split second, the Portuguese tactician went from calmly drinking his water to livid and charging at the fourth official in protest. Check out the hilarious moment in the tweet below.

Jose Mourinho's reaction to Hugo Lloris saving Ilkay Gundogan's penalty and then realising that Raheem Sterling could potentially be given a second yellow card shows the full spectrum of the managerial emotional rollercoaster #PL #TOTMCI pic.twitter.com/vL6iRAXs07
Despite his protests to both the fourth official, he quickly stepped away from the raging Mourinho, and Mike Dean; the Englishman remained on the pitch. After the game, Jose slammed VAR as he felt Raheem should have been sent off way before that incident after he caught Dele Alli with his studs in a nasty tackle.

Mourinho slams VAR after the game
"When the #VAR decides not to give a red card to Sterling it was thinking about the globality of the game. They decided to go against the rules to favour the spectacle... It should have been 11 against 10 since that very, very nasty tackle on Dele Alli."#beINPL #TOTMCI pic.twitter.com/oCSUCFC0p1

Despite these controversies, Tottenham came away with a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Bergwijn and Son. The north London giants have now moved into the fifth spot in the standings after the goalless draw between Man Utd and Wolves.
