It seems that Liverpool is getting used to break records day in and day out, but the ones they nabbed today are truly impressive, to say the least.
Liverpool did not have the best performance of the season during the first half, but a massive outburst during the second half saw them conquer four goals. Roberto Firmino earned three assists, and a new brace by Mo Salah confirmed the team's victory at Anfield.
The Reds reached 73 points this season, giving them a comfortable lead at the top. While that fact speaks for itself and might give you an idea on what we are talking about, here are some of the numbers Liverpool grabbed with this win and by taking one more step to what seems to be a secure title.
Here's perhaps the most impressive record matched by the Reds with their win today.
20 - Liverpool have now won each of their last 20 league matches at Anfield; only once in English top-flight history has a team had a longer winning streak on home soil – Liverpool themselves between January and December 1972 under Bill Shankly. Fortress. pic.twitter.com/TAVI2l6XEL

And yes, their chances of matching Arsenal's unbeaten record grow with each passing day.

One more Premier League record? Of course!
22 - Liverpool will end today 22 points clear of second-placed Manchester City in the Premier League table; this is the biggest lead any league-leader has ever had at the end of a day in English top-flight history. Gap. pic.twitter.com/xgG4P8m3w1

And to top it all, here's an individual milestone for none other than Mohamed Salah.
Mohamed Salah has scored more Premier League goals (70) than Luis Suarez (69).
