Leon Goretzka and Jerome Boateng threw fists at each other following a nasty tackle by the midfielder.

Passions are high at Bayern München despite their rise to second place in the Bundesliga. Earlier today, Jerome Boateng and Leon Goretzka traded blows in a heated training session, which will never be forgotten for their antics.

According to Bild, the bust-up began after Goretzka made a nasty move on Boateng, causing the defender to get up and nail him with his right hand. Boateng was ready to land another shot on Goretzka, but Thomas Müller and Robert Lewandowski intervened to end the exchange. Later, Jerome Boateng was calmed down by coach Hansi Flick.

Here's the moment when Boateng punched Goretzka's face.

Robert Lewandowski rushed to prevent things from escalating.

Thomas Müller, Hansi Flick and Lewandowski tried to calm Boateng down.

Apparently, this is not the first incident of the sort in which Goretzka is involved, since Thomas Müller reportedly uttered the words "it's always the same sh*t with you" to the midfielder.

Neither footballer will be fined by the club, since it seems that both players spoke about the incident and even posted a selfie on social media.

"Everything is fine between us, you can relax!"
