The Gunners will be making the trip to Selhurst Park in Saturday's early kick-off with the aim of making it three consecutive wins. Check out our match preview for more info.

What is the form of Crystal Palace compared to Arsenal?

Crystal Palace’s form as of late has taken an unfortunate dip. The Eagles haven’t won any of their last three games and have picked up only one victory in their last seven games (D4, L2).

As for Arsenal, this will be the first time they head into the game on the back of successive wins since early October. The Gunners beat Man United 2-0 in their most recent league tie before recording a 1-0 triumph over Leeds in the FA Cup. Nonetheless, the north London giants have still picked up only three wins from their last 17 games (D8, L6).

Crystal Palace vs Arsenal head-to-head record

Arsenal are winless in their last three clashes with Crystal Palace, drawing 2-2 in their Emirates Stadium clash earlier this season after losing 3-2 at home and drawing 2-2 away last season. Regardless, the head-to-head record favors the north London giants.

Games played: 46

Crystal Palace wins: 5

Arsenal wins: 13

Draws: 28

Team news

Arteta is expected to name a similar starting eleven to the one that beat Man United 2-0. The likes of Pepe and Aubameyang were rested in the recent FA Cup tie but should join Ozil and Lacazette in the attack.

Maitland-Niles and Torreira, who also did not feature in the 1-0 win over Leeds, are expected to start this tie after being nothing short of impeccable since Mikel’s arrival. Chambers and Tierney are out while Bellerin is unlikely to play.

Crystal Palace, on the other hand, have a huge selection headache. Not only are the likes of Sakho, Ward, Schlupp, Dann, and Townsend all injured, but Roy Hodgson will also be without Milivojevic due to suspension.

Zaha, who has always caused problems for Arsenal whenever they face the Eagles, should be fit. The same can be said for Benteke who has overcome a minor injury to be ready for this Selhurst Park tie.
